Armflags

One of the new articles I am working on is about the various types of armflags worn by partroopers in the different theaters of operations.

I am still looking for good close-up photos from the small flags printed on gauze fabric as used by the 82nd Airborne in Normandy.

I am also trying to find out the difference between the paper and oilcloth armbands. I know the former were used in Holland and I think the latter in Southern France, but if anyone can shed more light on this, please.
